2nd Pedal Para Kay Juana steers
As part of the observance of National Women’s Month, NwSSU, through the Office of Gender and Development, held a biking event on March 25, 2023.
On its second year, the Pedal Alay Para Kay Juana was attended by one hundred forty-six NwSSU students, employees, members of the Samar Off-Road Bikers Association (SORBA), and other cycling enthusiasts of Calbayog City and the Municipality of Sta. Margarita, Samar.
After a short opening program and warm-up, the bicycle advocacy started at the NwSSU Main Campus at 5:30 a.m., going to St. James, the Greater Plaza, Sta. Margarita, and back to the campus. A closing program was held, where thirty-two cyclists won raffle prizes.
