University Health Center
The University Health Center is designed to complement primary health care services to meet basic functions under promotive, preventive, and rehabilitative approaches/services.
MISSION
The Health Center of the University shall be able to eradicate, if not, minimize the diseases in the school community by means of health promotion, and disease prevention thereby upholding the well-being and prolonging the life of the populace we serve.
PRIMARY GOAL
To provide convenient access to primary and preventive care for students, faculty and staff who might otherwise have limited or no access to health care.

SERVICES SCHEDULE:
Consultation - Monday to Friday 3:00 p.m to 5:00 p.m
Medical Certificate - Monday to Friday
DENTAL SERVICES
- Consultation and Treatment
- Tooth Extraction (once every semester)
- Oral Prophylaxis (once every semester)
- Prescribe & Dispensing of Medicines
- Referral of complicated cases
SERVICES SCHEDULE:
Consultation & Treatment - Monday to Friday (whole day)
Tooth Extraction - Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m to 11:00 a.m
Oral Prophylaxis - Monday to Friday, 1:00 p.m to 4:00 p.m
FUNCTIONS
NURSE
- Coordinates and supervises the health services in the school.
- Formulates and plans out the programs of activities for the center.
- Conduct periodic inspections to students, faculty and staff. Keep record of findings.
- REferral management.
- Treat minor ailments, give first aid treatment.
- Checks on the sanitation of school and healthful living.
- Advance and guidance on health matters, conduct trainings, seminars, symposium etc.
- Acts as a resource person on health matters.
- Prepare and submit reports.
- Supplying and resupplying services.
DENTIST
- Perform oral examination, consultation and treatment.
- Perform tooth extraction to unusable carious tooth/teeth and ensure the safe administration of anesthesia.
- Prescribe and dispense medicines.
- Give oral health care instruction after treatment.
- Perform oral prophylaxis and gum treatment.
- Perform temporary restoration to a damaged tooth that can be saved if necessary.
- Conduct oral health education.
- Record every diagnosis, services rendered, treatment and prescribed medicines on patients dental health record form.
- Clean and sterilize every dental instrument used.
- Dental facilities are properly maintained.
- Interpret dental x-rays.
- Request necessary supplies and materials for clinic use.
- Supervisory work.
- Do related works.
